Mitchell Trubisky is entering his ninth season in the NFL in 2024, currently preparing to play for the Buffalo Bills. His wife, Hillary, recently posted an emotional message on Instagram reflecting on this milestone, highlighting the significance of his ongoing career with the Bills.

Trubisky, who played college football at North Carolina, was the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. After several years with different teams, including previous time with the Bills, he is once again part of Buffalo’s roster for the upcoming season, marking a key chapter in his professional journey.

An Emotional Milestone Shared by Trubisky’s Wife

On Wednesday, the NFL released a feature that recognized several players beginning their ninth seasons, with Trubisky included on the list. Hillary Trubisky shared the announcement on her Instagram story, expressing disbelief that nine years have passed.

“Can’t believe it’s year 9,” Hillary wrote in the caption.

The couple’s relationship dates back to when Mitchell was with the Chicago Bears, and they married in 2021. The following year, they celebrated the birth of their first child together. Hillary has been supportive throughout his career, including when he rejoined the Bills last year.

“BACK TO BUFFALO (red and heart emojis). Proud of you,” Hillary wrote, tagging Mitchell after he signed a two-year contract with Buffalo.

Returning to the Bills last season, Trubisky backed up Josh Allen again, playing in nine games with 179 passing yards and two touchdowns. Buffalo reached the AFC Championship game but were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs.
