Braden Fiske declares himself "full go" for Rams OTAs, expressing confidence and enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Defensive end Braden Fiske is fully engaged in the Los Angeles Rams’ Phase 3 Organized Team Activities (OTAs) as the team prepares for the 2025 season. After recovering from a right knee injury sustained during the Rams’ playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in January, Fiske has declared himself “full go” for these offseason workouts.

Speaking to local media before the recent Rams Revealed Live event, Fiske confirmed his strong physical condition saying he is participating fully in individual drills and team activities. This marks an important step following his rehabilitation process and minor knee procedure.

Recovering from Injury: Progress and Milestones

Fiske suffered his right knee injury late in the Rams’ playoff defeat and underwent a procedure shortly after. Rams head coach Sean McVay indicated back in January that the injury would not prevent Fiske from being ready to compete in the 2025 campaign. Fiske’s rehab journey was documented in the first episode of the team’s Behind The Grind series, which captured his work with athletic trainer Lawrence Jones and the Los Angeles Rams training staff.

During that first episode, Fiske experienced a key moment when he was able to run and sprint again for the first time since his injury. Reflecting on the moment, Fiske said,

“It was funny, in that episode, it was the first time I’d really like, taken off and ran and sprinted for – it wasn’t even sprinting, it was like a quick five-step first, but that’s when I knew, I was like, ‘okay, we’re feeling good again,’”

“Because you go through the rehab process, and a lot of days are monotonous, you’re doing a lot of the same things. You get those opportunities to finally let it loose a little bit to kind of see where you’re at. And, that day, great to get it on tape, especially for the film crew. But it was cool for me, and just to get that feeling got me juiced up again. You can see me talking to LJ, our trainer, just like, ‘yeah, we’re gonna be all right.’ So that was a cool moment.”

Optimism and Ambition Ahead of the 2025 Season

Last season, Fiske earned recognition as a finalist for the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, leading the Rams with 8.5 sacks. With his knee now healed and a full offseason of training underway, he is eager to build on that performance.

Reflecting on his condition and outlook, Fiske stated,

“Especially from where I left off last season and how I feel going into this season, I feel great,”

Braden Fiske’s return to full health and active participation in OTAs signals his readiness to be a dominant force for the Rams in the upcoming season. His recovery and commitment offer hope and excitement as the team looks toward 2025, aiming to capitalize on his growing impact on defense.
