Caitlin Clark Reveals Why One Reaction Video to Tyrese Haliburton’s Clutch Shots Will Never Go Public
Caitlin Clark celebrates Tyrese Haliburton's clutch shots, but keeps her lively reactions private due to colorful language.

Caitlin Clark admitted she has a video capturing her reaction to Tyrese Haliburton’s clutch shot during the 2025 NBA playoffs that she will never share publicly. Clark, sidelined since May 24 by a quadriceps injury, has only played in four of the Indiana Fever’s first nine games this WNBA season. Despite her injury, Clark expressed strong support for Haliburton after his game-tying buzzer-beater in the Pacers’ playoff series against the New York Knicks.

Clark was in Atlanta on May 22, preparing for a game against the Dream, when Haliburton’s shot sent fans into a frenzy. She recorded herself celebrating that moment but hesitates to make the clip public due to its explicit language.

Why Clark Keeps Some Reactions Offline

In an interview with ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Clark explained why she won’t share the clip showing her exuberant response to Haliburton’s clutch shot.

I cuss way too much in [the video],

Clark said, highlighting her reluctance to release the profanity-filled footage.

Clark also mentioned she has filmed other reactions to Haliburton’s important shots but has no plans to share those videos yet. In fact, she didn’t record a reaction to Haliburton’s recent game-winning basket against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Balancing Focus and Friendship During the Finals

Clark revealed that while watching the Finals, she was on FaceTime with her teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull throughout the game. She eventually decided to end the call to fully concentrate on the pivotal moment.

I was on FaceTime with [teammates] Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull the whole game,

But at the end, I was like, ‘I got to get off FaceTime, I have to watch this. I can’t focus on both.’

This choice underlines Clark’s dedication to following the action despite her recovery phase.

Haliburton and Pacers Aim to Close the Finals on Home Court

As Clark continues her rehabilitation from the quadriceps injury, Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers look to secure another win in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, moving one step closer to the championship. The Pacers currently hold a 2-1 series lead against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder and will leverage their home-court advantage at Gainbridge Fieldhouse before the series returns to Paycom Center.

Clark’s enthusiasm for Haliburton’s performances underscores the crossover support between WNBA and NBA fans, while her candidness about the unseen video offers insight into her authentic personality off the court.
