Coco Gauff Reveals Intimate 2025 French Open Celebration Plans After Glitzy Paris and NYC Feasts
Coco Gauff plans intimate 2025 French Open celebrations at home after public festivities in Paris and New York City.

Coco Gauff, the American tennis star, celebrated her 2025 French Open triumph with a series of high-profile events in Paris and New York City before unveiling plans for a more private gathering at home. After defeating Aryna Sabalenka to secure her second Grand Slam title, Gauff embraced both public festivities and quiet reflection.

The 21-year-old champion has shared insights into these celebrations through a recent video by the United States Tennis Association, highlighting her blend of public enjoyment and an upcoming low-key event.

“Yeah, I celebrated the win. We went and got some dinner, and then we went out, had some fun. It was my first Parisian kind of nightlife experience, so that was super cool. Now we’re in New York, doing the whole shabam with the media and everything. Then I’ll go home and have a more chill, just kind of sit-at-the-beach celebration,” she said.

Her Parisian experience featured photo shoots by the Eiffel Tower, while in the U.S., Gauff made notable appearances including attending a WNBA game in New York and participating in interviews on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Despite these glamorous moments, Gauff plans to celebrate her victory privately in Delray Beach, Florida, surrounded by family.

Emotional Response to Warm Welcome at Brooklyn WNBA Game

On June 10, Gauff attended a WNBA game where the New York Liberty faced the Chicago Sky at Barclays Center. Her presence courtside was met with enthusiastic cheers when her name was announced, demonstrating her rising profile beyond tennis.

Gauff expressed genuine gratitude and surprise for the passionate reception through a heartfelt TikTok video, revealing the emotional impact of the crowd’s support.

“I just came from the Liberty game and, like, they announced me that I was there and the whole arena was cheering for me, which I wasn’t expecting, just because I… It’s not my sport. I’m at a basketball game, and it just made me realize, like, how many people see me, and this is crazy. And I really appreciate you guys,” Coco Gauff said.

“In interviews, sometimes I try to hold the emotions back and, like, I’m right now trying to do it. But it just… like, I’m, like, feel tears come in… It just means a lot. So… thank you,” she added.

Looking Ahead to the Grass Court Season

Following these celebrations, Gauff is preparing for the upcoming grass-court events. Last year, she advanced to the fourth round at Wimbledon but is still searching for her first title on grass. Ranked World No. 2, Gauff’s determination and resilience set the stage for a promising season ahead.
