As a former Oxford 250 champion, he now returns to pilot the No. 51 car for Go Fas Racing in hopes of reigniting his winning momentum during the mid-week event. In a video posted on Oxford Plains Speedway’s Facebook page, Busch said,

“I’ve got some unfishined business up there in Maine,”

and expressed his excitement about returning, stating,

“I’m looking forward to coming back up to Oxford Plains Speedway for the Celebration of America 300 on July 1-2. Be sure to be there.”

Driving the CorvetteParts.Net No. 51 for Go Fas Racing, Busch added,

“It’s going to be a lot of fun racing against all the northerners again. I enjoyed it last time. I want to go up there this time and get back into victory lane.”

Busch also lightheartedly teased his NASCAR Cup Series spotter, Derek Kneeland, who will be competing in the same race.

“Of course, Derek, he’s got no shot,”

joked Busch.

“We’re not worried about him. We’re worried about the other guys.”

The Celebration of America 300 event draws a competitive group, with 33 entrants confirmed so far. Qualifying will take place on Tuesday, July 1, consisting of two 75-lap races that determine the starting lineup for the 300-lap main event scheduled for Wednesday, July 2.
