Eagles’ Kendall Lamm Refutes Fake Quotes Alleging Criticism of Dolphins Culture After FA Move
Kendall Lamm defends himself, denying fake quotes criticizing Miami Dolphins' culture and expressing respect for his former team.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Kendall Lamm responded strongly to false reports claiming he criticized the culture of his former team, the Miami Dolphins. Lamm took to Instagram to clarify that he never made negative remarks about the Dolphins’ locker room environment.

Addressing the fabricated quotes, Lamm said,

“I keep getting sent this article, apparently, that someone has said I slammed Dolphins culture,”

and emphasized,

“One, I don’t remember talking to any reporter about anything that we really dealt with Miami and the Dolphins. Two, I was never raised that way to sit there and comment on certain things as far as culture and everything else within the locker room. Three, I have no animosity, no ill will or bad intentions toward Miami or anybody down there whatsoever. I enjoyed my time in Miami and it’ll be near and dear to me forever.”

Clarifying Misreported Comments About Team Dynamics

Lamm expressed frustration about an article that falsely attributed remarks to him regarding players’ punctuality and a supposed absence of toxicity with the Eagles that he claimed was lacking in Miami. He denied ever having an interview in which he shared such opinions.

He further stated,

“When it comes to this article that I’m being sent, that’s been published, unless I just completely forgot doing this, it must have been misconstrued or taken out of context, because I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone in Miami and the people in Miami know that,”

underscoring his respect for the team and city.

Background on Lamm’s Move from Dolphins to Eagles

Kendall Lamm spent three seasons with the Dolphins, appearing in 33 games from 2022 to 2024. In March, he signed a one-year free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles worth approximately $1.5 million. During his final year with Miami, the team missed the playoffs, finishing with an 8-9 record.

In contrast, the Eagles enjoyed a highly successful season, culminating in a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs to claim the Super Bowl LIX title. Despite the contrasting fortunes of both teams, Lamm chose to address and reject the misleading quotations as he settled into his new role.

The Impact of False Reporting on Player Reputation

Fake quotes attributing criticism to Lamm risked damaging his standing with the Dolphins organization and its fanbase, prompting the player to speak out publicly. His clarification highlights the importance of accurate reporting and the potential consequences misinformation can have on players’ relationships with former teams.

As Lamm continues his career with the Eagles, his statement serves to maintain goodwill with Miami and affirm his professional focus moving forward.
