Corey Seager, the Texas Rangers shortstop, and his wife, Madisyn, celebrated their four-month wedding anniversary last December. Three months after their anniversary, Madisyn announced that she was expecting a baby, sharing a heartfelt story about how she revealed the pregnancy to her husband.
In May, the couple creatively disclosed the gender of their child during a beachside moment. Standing hand in hand, they faced each other as a friend secretly handed Corey a bouquet of flowers. The video revealed the gender through the color of the flowers: initially shown in black and white, the clip switched to full color when the bouquet, featuring blue flowers, was revealed, indicating they are having a baby boy.
Madisyn recently appeared on episode 142 of the podcast hosted by Justin Turner’s wife, Kourtney Turner, where she detailed the experience of discovering and sharing her pregnancy with Corey. When asked by Kourtney about how she told Corey, Madisyn described the moment honestly and simply.
“Honestly, it was not like in a crazy way at all,” Madisyn said [From 8:24]. “I found out I took a pregnancy test at like three weeks because I just had an off feeling. It was after our Hawaii trip, literally the day, yeah, was pregnant in Hawaii. But we got home and I went to a workout and I felt so tired.”

Madisyn explained that the fatigue felt after their trip to Hawaii prompted her to take a pregnancy test only about 30 minutes before a dermatologist appointment. The test was positive, which caused her to panic privately in the bathroom while Corey remained unaware of the news.
“Then we do the dermatologist appointment, we come home, and he goes to the field to hit. So I was like, ‘Oh, let me try and think of something cute to do.’ Couldn’t really think of anything, so I literally was just in bed reading my Kindle when he got home and I had the pregnancy test next to me. He came over and gave me a hug,” Corey Seager’s wife added.

She also shared that although she recorded a video of the moment Corey discovered the pregnancy test, she chose not to post it publicly at his request, recalling his surprised question: “Are you f**king pregnant?” Madisyn confessed that she took more than twenty pregnancy tests afterward to be sure the result was correct.

Before joining the Texas Rangers, Corey Seager spent seven years playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. During that period, Madisyn formed friendships with the wives of Corey’s teammates, including Kourtney Turner, Cody Bellinger, and Kike Hernandez. Among these friendships, Madisyn is especially close to Kourtney Turner, often appearing together on social media.
Kourtney and Justin Turner welcomed their son, Bo Jordan, last July. As an experienced mother, Kourtney asked Madisyn what she is most looking forward to as she prepares to become a mother herself.
