When Rodon shared photos of the trio, Gerrit Cole’s wife, Amy, perfectly captured Fried’s new honorary role by calling him “Uncle Max.”
The family connection continued on Tuesday as they appeared together on the red carpet. Carlos Rodon and his sons, Bo and Silo, looked sharp in coordinating purple and black attire. After Bo grew tired and Rodon paused for an interview with MLB Network, Fried stepped in to carry the toddler through the photo sessions.
