“I love it. It’s been great,”
Bregman said.
“I’ve loved being in Boston, obviously an amazing city, great ballpark to play, and the fans are incredible.”
He continued,
“Playing with great teammates. Organization has been awesome to be a part of, and we’ve been playing really good baseball right now. I feel like we have a real opportunity to win, and I’ve loved it.”

“The belief here is that with Bregman’s great start a deal would likely have to be around $184 (million) or perhaps even $200M,”
Heyman stated.
Boston’s management has faced criticism for losing star players in recent years. However, Heyman indicated the team might consider a significant investment to lock Bregman down before he reaches free agency. He added,
“It’s rare a star of Bregman’s stature signs within months of unfettered (no qualifying offer attached) free agency,”
while noting,
“But there’s some chance, as both sides wouldn’t mind getting something done.”
