Reagan Elizabeth, wife of Boston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman, took part in the annual Run to Home Base marathon on Saturday at Fenway Park in Boston. She shared her experience on Instagram, posting several stories that captured moments from the event and highlighted her involvement alongside her two young children, Knox and Bennett. This event serves as a fundraiser to support military veterans and their families, making it a meaningful occasion for participants like Reagan.

The marathon began just outside the Red Sox Clubhouse, marked by the race’s iconic balloon at the starting line. Reagan documented this scene before showing a tender moment with her two kids—Knox, born in August 2022, and Bennett, born in April this year. While holding one child and pushing a stroller with the other, Reagan stood beneath the start banner wearing a Run to Home Base T-shirt and race bib No. 3503.

“The chaos of doing a 5k with two littles,” she wrote.

This year marked the 16th edition of the Run to Home Base event, which has raised more than $48 million since its inception. Over 3,000 runners took part in this marathon, which is expected to generate nearly $4 million to benefit veterans.

Alex Bregman Shares Family Moments at Fenway Park

Earlier in July, Alex Bregman posted a series of family photos on Instagram, showcasing a day out with his wife Reagan and their sons Knox and Bennett. The post, captioned “Family Day ’25,” featured seven images of the family dressed in Red Sox jerseys, celebrating their connection to both the team and the city of Boston.

One of the photos showed Reagan holding Bennett, while Alex carried Knox, as the family posed together. Other pictures captured Knox hitting a bat on Fenway Diamond baseball field with Reagan watching fondly. Images of Knox wandering around the field highlighted the family’s enjoyment of spending quality time together in a place so meaningful to Alex’s career.

A Meaningful Community and Family Experience

The participation of Alex Bregman’s family in both the Run to Home Base marathon and family outings at Fenway Park illustrates their commitment to community causes and to each other. By supporting veterans through the marathon, Reagan and her children join thousands of people who contribute to a charitable effort that positively affects military families.

As the Run to Home Base continues to grow, events like these provide an opportunity for families connected to Boston’s sports scene to engage in charitable causes while celebrating their own bonds. For the Bregman family, sharing these moments publicly reinforces their role as supporters of veterans and exemplifies the powerful impact that family involvement can have in charitable activities moving forward.
