The 2025 Cook Out Summer Shootout culminated on July 29 with the tenth round after a season disrupted by weather delays and extreme heat. Busch started from the pole position in the Masters Division final race and led every lap, emphasizing his command on the track. Following his latest victory, Busch declared his clear ambition to set the record for eight total wins in this summer series.
Championship Outcomes and Upcoming National Events
While Busch dominated the Summer Shootout races, the overall Masters Division championship went to Robby Faggart, who finished just 47 points ahead of Busch. The broader INEX national schedule is set to continue in September, featuring the Bandolero Nationals returning to Charlotte Motor Speedway, followed by other road course and dirt track events.
Trackhouse Racing’s Shane van Gisbergen also gained recognition at Charlotte by securing his first Cook Out Summer Shootout and oval victory in the Pro Legends division, starting the race from third and climbing to the top of the podium.
