Noah Gragson returns to Iowa Speedway, a familiar track, aiming for top performance in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Noah Gragson is preparing for an exciting challenge at the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series event at Iowa Speedway, known for its demanding 0.875-mile oval layout. Gragson has a solid background at Iowa, with multiple starts across NASCAR’s national and regional series, showcasing consistent and competitive performances.

In 2019, Gragson finished sixth and fourth in his two NASCAR Xfinity Series appearances at Iowa. His NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series record there includes a sixth-place finish in 2017—also earning pole position that year—and an impressive runner-up finish in 2018. During his tenure in the ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the K&N Pro Series West, he earned three top-six results: third and second in 2015 and sixth in 2016.

Rasmussen Air & Gas Energy Returns as Sponsor for Front Row Motorsports

For this 350-lap race, Rasmussen Air & Gas Energy (RAGE) is partnering once again with Front Row Motorsports and Gragson’s No. 4 team. Based in Waterloo, Nebraska, RAGE specializes in manufacturing, renting, selling, and servicing industrial air compressor systems and compressed gas equipment. The company has expanded nationally, with regional offices located in Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and Kentucky.

“At RAGE, we believe compressed air and gas deserve a seat at the table, right beside water, electricity, and natural gas, that’s why we call it the Fourth Utility,”

said Larry Rasmussen, CEO of RAGE.

“Compressed air powers nearly every product made today – and we engineer the systems that keep it flowing. Our return to NASCAR and FRM is more than visibility – it’s a celebration of what powers performance: speed, teamwork, and the technology behind the scenes.”

“I’m excited to get to Iowa this weekend — it’s always been a fun track and one I’ve had circled on the calendar for a while,”

he said.

“I’ve got a lot of history there, going back to my K&N days in 2015. Last year we were fastest in practice, but loose in qualifying which caught us off guard. Everyone was slipping and sliding on the new asphalt. The corners were really dark where they repaved, but it’s lightened up quite a bit since then.”

Gragson went on to describe how Iowa Speedway’s track surface changes with the seasons, adding character and difficulty.

“What makes tracks like Iowa so great is how they age — the hot summers and freezing winters build character over time, and that’s what gives them their unique challenges. Iowa is a place I love going to and I’m looking forward to the weekend.”

Looking Ahead to the Iowa Speedway Event

This race at Iowa Speedway marks another important stage in Noah Gragson’s NASCAR Cup Series campaign, backed by the renewed collaboration with Rasmussen Air & Gas Energy and Front Row Motorsports. Given Gragson’s track record of competitive finishes and the strong partnership supporting him, fans and the team alike are hopeful for a solid performance as they tackle the demanding 350-lap contest. The event promises to test driver skill and team strategy on this dynamic and historic oval.
