Corey Heim NASCAR Cup Debut: Rising star prepares for electrifying Richmond Raceway race with 23XI Racing, driving No. 67 Toyota.

Corey Heim, a young NASCAR prodigy, is set to make a notable debut in the NASCAR Cup Series at Richmond Raceway with 23XI Racing. At just 23 years old, Heim has dominated the NASCAR Truck Series this season, earning five wins in the first 16 races, alongside ten top-five and 12 top-ten finishes, marking him as a rising talent in the sport.

Impressive Track Record and Development Deal with 23XI Racing

Recognized as one of NASCAR’s most promising drivers in the lower divisions, Heim has reached the Championship 4 in both 2023 and 2024, accumulating 16 victories in the Truck Series. His outstanding achievements have led to a multi-year contract as 23XI Racing’s first-ever development driver, underscoring the team’s confidence in his potential.

Previous Cup Series Experience and Comeback Opportunity at Richmond

Heim will be driving the No. 67 Toyota, sponsored by Robinhood, for his sixth career Cup start and third of the 2025 season. Earlier this year, he impressed at Kansas by finishing 13th, outperforming his 23XI teammates. However, Heim faced a hurdle after failing to qualify at the Chicago Street Course due to qualifying damage. Richmond offers him a crucial opportunity for redemption as he returns to the Cup Series.

Familiarity with Richmond and Strong Performance History

Though new to the Cup competition at Richmond Raceway, Heim knows the track well from previous appearances. He recorded a strong fourth-place finish in an Xfinity race last year with Sam Hunt Racing and has competed three times in the Truck Series at the Virginia short track, providing a solid foundation for his upcoming challenge.

23XI Racing’s Competitive Driver Lineup

23XI Racing features accomplished drivers including Brickyard 400 winner Bubba Wallace in the No. 23, Tyler Reddick in the No. 45, and rookie Riley Herbst in the No. 35. As Heim takes center stage for his NASCAR Cup debut, expectations are high for his talent and determination to make a significant impact.
