Courtney Force Shares Heartfelt IndyCar Family Update Ahead of Third Child’s Arrival
Graham Rahal's wife, Courtney Force, shares joyful family update ahead of their third child during IndyCar race weekend.

Courtney Force, wife of Graham Rahal, recently shared a heartfelt update on their family as they anticipate welcoming their third child. The couple enjoyed the 2025 IndyCar Round 14, the Java House Grand Prix of Monterey, where the entire family was present at the track.

Force conveyed their experiences at the Monterey circuit and revealed she will likely miss the season’s final three races to prepare for the new baby. She stated,

“Laguna Seca. And likely the last race we can make it to before the season ends & baby #3 arrives! Always love coming to Monterey & getting to cheer on Graham Rahal! Plus the girls got to see fire hawk & we got to meet Tyson Ritter & his car enthusiast dad at the track too!”

Married since November 2015, Graham Rahal and Courtney Force are parents to two daughters: Harlan Ann Rahal, born in November 2020, and Tinley Leighton Rahal, born in September 2022.

Race Performance at the Java House Grand Prix of Monterey

In the recent Monterey race, Graham Rahal finished in 12th place after 95 laps. Starting from 8th on the grid, he slipped four positions while driving the #15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing car. The 36-year-old currently sits 19th in the drivers’ standings with 213 points after 14 rounds of the IndyCar season.

Rahal Reflects on a Competitive and Tactical Race

Rahal described his time at Monterey as a “fairly straightforward race following the event on the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing website. He recounted his ongoing duel on the track and his race strategy, saying,

“It was a fairly straightforward race. The strategy of a couple of those guys helped some of the guys who leapfrogged us cycle to the front like Dixon, Ilott and another. But I felt we held our own all day. Scotty (McLaughlin) and I had a good battle for what felt like 90 of the 95 laps. I would have liked a little better of a finish today but for sure I’m not going to be disappointed in it.”

Looking Ahead to the End of the 2025 Season

Having competed in top-level open-wheel racing since 2008, Rahal aims to improve his ranking from 19th in the remaining races of the current season. After finishing 18th in the 2024 standings, he is hopeful that the final events will bring better results, demonstrating his devotion to advancing within IndyCar competition.

As Courtney Force steps back from attending upcoming races to focus on their family’s newest member, Graham Rahal’s determination on and off the track remains evident. The family’s time together at Monterey symbolizes both their passion for racing and their excitement for the next chapter with their growing family.
