Before her tropical escape, Claire made an impact at 49ers camp by sending a thoughtful surprise to her husband and his teammates: fresh sweet corn shipped from Iowa. George acknowledged the kind gesture on Instagram over the weekend, and Claire responded playfully.
“Camp just got better!!!! Trying to teach these boys a little something about IOWA,” Claire wrote.
The couple has balanced a busy offseason with visits to Lake Tahoe and other trips, including a joint vacation in July before training camp began.
