Billy Horschel, the eight-time PGA Tour winner, recently took a trip to Atlanta with his son Axel while continuing to recover from hip surgery. This trip provided a much-needed break from his rehabilitation, filled with memorable moments centered around sports and family.
During the visit, Horschel and Axel attended various athletic events and activities, including the West Ham football match against Bournemouth. Horschel shared images from the trip on August 5, describing the experience as both enjoyable and meaningful.
Highlights from Horschel and Axel’s Memorable Weekend
Throughout the weekend, Billy Horschel and his son experienced several exciting events. On Friday, they visited the Falcons Training Camp and had lunch with Arthur and Josh Blank at the team’s training facility. They also spent time playing golf at TPC Sugarloaf alongside their friend Mark Noble.
A key moment was Axel’s participation in the pre-match coin toss before the West Ham versus Bournemouth game, an event that got both father and son closer to the team. Additionally, they observed West Ham’s training session and shared meals at the team hotel, enjoying breakfast and dinner with the players and staff.

Because of my injury, I’ve been fortunate enough to have ample amount of quality time with them than I normally would have.
