Jacob Stotz Named New ARCA Menards Series Director in Exciting Leadership Shift

The ARCA Menards Series announced that Jacob Stotz has been appointed as the new ARCA Menards Series Director, effective immediately. This ARCA Menards Series Director announcement highlights a leadership change aimed at strengthening the series’ operations and future growth.

Stotz’s Background and Connection to ARCA

Jacob Stotz will collaborate closely with ARCA president Ron Drager during his transition into the Series Director role. He has spent the last four seasons as the Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing and Event Operations for the ARCA Menards Series, gaining experience across multiple facets such as competition, administration, finance, and marketing.

Before joining ARCA in 2022, Stotz held various positions at Kentucky Speedway from 2013 to 2020, starting in the ticket office and later working in sales and client services. His deep ties to southeast Michigan—where ARCA’s headquarters is located—further prepare him for his leadership duties. A native of Ida, Michigan, Stotz grew up just 15 minutes from ARCA’s base in Temperance. He attended Ida High School and graduated from the University of Toledo. His first connection with the Drager family dates back to when he sold tickets for the Monroe County Fair Demolition Derby, an event linked to ARCA properties for more than fifty years.

“Jake has immersed himself into the ARCA Menards Series over the last four years, in a very hands-on capacity working in just about every aspect of what we do from competition, administration, finance, and sales and marketing. He has built very solid relationships with drivers, teams, track operators, and sponsors. He has boundless enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, both of which are terrific qualities for his new position.”

Jacob Stotz conveyed his gratitude and excitement for the new role, saying,

“I am completely humbled and blessed to be chosen as the next ARCA Menards Series Director,”

and also noted,

“Thank you to Ron Drager and the leadership at NASCAR for this great opportunity and the trust to lead this series. Growing up in a small farming community, working in motorsports as a career never crossed my mind. With the support of a great surrounding team, there is no industry I would rather call home. I look forward to working with NASCAR, Menards, our staff, officials, partners, drivers, and teams to continue to build the ARCA Menards Series legacy.”
