Alex Bregman, who joined the Boston Red Sox halfway through the season, is quickly making Boston his home. On Thursday, he partnered with Sam Adams to introduce “Bregman’s Beer,” a limited-edition brew available exclusively at the Sam Adams Downtown Boston Taproom while supplies last. The third baseman discussed the launch during an event covered by NESN.
Giving Back to Boston Fans Through a Unique Collaboration
Bregman expressed his appreciation for the city‘s welcoming spirit.
“I think for me, being the new guy here in Boston, just seeing how the fans have embraced me, and really welcomed me with open arms, we kind of wanted to partner with Sam Adams and give back to the Boston fans and do something super ‘Boston’ to enjoy during the games,”
he said. This collaboration reflects his desire to connect with the local community in a meaningful way.
Bregman’s Role on and off the Field
Despite missing part of the season due to injury, Bregman has been integral to the Red Sox’s progress. Beyond his on-field contributions, he has supported younger teammates during his time on the sidelines. Although he holds an opt-out clause at the end of the season, Bregman has made it clear he hopes to stay with Boston long-term.

“Talking with [Alex Cora] before I signed, he did a good job of telling me about Boston…since I’ve been here, my wife and I have loved every second of it. I feel like we were expecting to love it, but we have loved it even more,”

Focused on Championship Goals with the Red Sox
While enjoying life in Boston, Bregman’s primary focus remains winning.
“Just winning, just winning. I just want to win. That’s it. That’s all I want to do. When you play in the postseason, there’s something about it that you just want to do it every year. I feel like we’re in a really good spot to do that this year…I want to keep doing it, and I want to do it for a long time,”
he stated. His determination highlights his passion for success with the Red Sox.
