Coco Gauff, who has earned ten WTA titles in singles and doubles, announced she will not participate in the 2025 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship due to scheduling conflicts and prior commitments. She cited a busy agenda during the event’s free week as the main reason for her withdrawal.
“The free week of the US Open is already packed for me, for sponsor things, and it was just like a whole other thing. I’m very competitive, if I were to lose, I would not be happy,” she added, via Olympics.com.
The mixed doubles competition is scheduled for August 19 to 20, during the opening week of the US Open.
