Manager Aaron Boone clarified on Tuesday that Judge will remain at DH for now, with the possibility of returning to the outfield during the home series against the Boston Red Sox. Boone also noted that Judge’s recovery from a right elbow flexor strain is progressing, but it is unlikely that he will fully regain his usual throwing strength this season.

Even with limited at-bats since, Stanton has continued to hit exceptionally well, recording a .500 average and a .591 on-base percentage in just 18 plate appearances.
